Veterinary
medicine has made great strides in the past few years
in the control of pain in our pets

Surgical
Pain |
| |
We have several types of drugs at our disposal
for the control of surgical pain and discomfort.
Every surgery patient at Southpointe Veterinary
Hospital has a pre-operative plan for pain management.
The patient is also closely monitored throughout
surgery and recovery for indications of pain. If
needed, additional drugs are administered.

Chronic Pain |
|
Our animal companions can be quite good at masking
pain and discomfort. If your pet is slow to rise
after lying down, limps, or is not as active as
previously, it can be a sign of arthritis.
We have safe, easy to administer drugs that can
make your pet much more comfortable. You will be
surprised at the difference.
Please feel free to speak with a member of our staff
for more information.
