Vaccinations
Because
this is a hospital, all animals must have current vaccinations
before being admitted for any elective procedures such
as spays, neuters, dentals,or other surgeries. Any pets
that are being boarded or being admitted for a bath,
must also be up to date on required vaccinations. In
addition, any dogs being boarded must have a negative
fecal sample within the past 6 months.
Contagious
Diseases
Our
receptionists may ask you to hold your pet in your vehicle
if we suspect that they may have a contagious disease,
such as kennel cough, to avoid contamination of the
waiting room. We will inform you of this possibility
on the telephone when you call to schedule the appointment.
Upon arriving at the hospital, please leave your pet
in the car, and register at the front desk.
Scheduled
Appointments
Because
we are both an emergency room and general practitioner, there
may be times when a scheduled appointment is delayed
while we tend to a critical patient. We will do our
best to stay on time with your scheduled appointment
time, but we ask your cooperation and understanding if
we are not able to see your pet at the appointed time.
We want to assure you that if your pet is critically
ill, his needs will come first also.
Safety
We appreciate it when dogs are on leashes and cats are
in carriers when you visit our hospital.
